Emil Viklicky Trio in Hong Kong and In South Korea |

A week after returning from Beijing with the trio „Vibe Fantasy & Marek Hlavica“ another Asian tour took place on September, 27th – October, 5th. The Emil Viklicky Trio (Emil Viklicky-piano, Petr Dvorský-double bass, Cyril Zelenak-drums) has performed at the International Jazz Festival in Hong Kong and then moved to South Korea and took part at the open air jazz festival „Jarasum International Jazz Festival" near Seoul.
Performance in the Jarasum Jazz Festival was preceded by concerts of Emil Viklicky Trio in several jazzclubs in Seoul, such as: Live Jazz Club, and in particular the Moonglow Jazzclub, which is a nice club with a wonderful atmosphere, good sound and fantastic audience. There was even a jam-session with the Korean pianist, jazz legend, Kwan, Shin-Woong, who is also the owner of the club.

The China tour “Vibe Fantasy Trio & Marek Hlavica” (Radek Krampl - vibes, Tomas Reindl- perc., Petr Dvorsky – bass, Marek Hlavica – voc.) took part in Beijing on September, 12th. – 19th. 2011. The tour included the performance in a jazz club in the historical part of Beijing (Hutong), followed by a workshop at the jazz department of the Academy Of Music, Beijing. The final concert was performed at the Beijing Ninegates Jazz Festival. |
